A flipbook is a little movie you can hold. Somehow, we've been making them on the most famous sets, stages, and stadiums in America.
We show up with cameras and a printer to make people the star of their own flipbook. Then we started noticing the addresses. We'd been setting up exactly where cinema history was made.
Every place below is a real Action Flipbooks event. Hover a card (or tap on mobile) to flip it, just like the little movies we make.
This didn’t start on a red carpet. It started with a wedding DJ, a self-help seminar, and a booth nobody had a name for yet. Here’s the real order of things.
Matt was running a Sacramento wedding DJ company when he bought a ticket to Tony Robbins’ Unleash the Power Within in LA. He came home, tore it up, and started building something new.
The first gig that felt like a big deal was a pop-up at the Smog Shop in LA, back before we even knew the word "pop-up." The Jackass crew was in the room for a West Virginia premiere. We were hooked.
Logix Federal Credit Union booked our booth for the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival at Hart Park. Twelve years later it is still our longest-running gig.
A national flipbook tour through the agency IMG Live: Fashion Valley, Universal City, The Grove, and Bloomingdale’s at Stanford for Super Bowl 50. Our producer called Matt "the flipbook guru."
The Lion Guard world premiere on the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank. Red carpet, main-theatre screening, after-party in Legends Plaza. Then Apple, then Cinequest, then the floodgates.
A wedding DJ who took a leap. We never chased the famous places. They just kept being where the work was.
It’s not just where we’ve been. Some genuinely famous people stepped into the booth and made their own Action Flipbook.
A dozen-time regular on Good Day Sacramento. Featured on Clevver TV and in BOP Magazine. You’ll find us roaming the GBK celebrity gift lounges at the Emmys and the Kids’ Choice Awards, handing stars a little movie of themselves.
We didn’t just work famous places. Some of the most famous names in the world hired us to be there. In order of first appearance:
From a Disney red carpet to a Star Wars premiere to Fall Guys at VidCon. Not bad for a booth that makes little flipbooks.
Booths set, guests filmed, flipbooks printed. Five states and counting.
We don't just show up.
We show up where the greats did.
Every venue and date is pulled from ten years of real Action Flipbooks bookings. Film and pop-culture facts independently verified.
